Hope's Claire Hallock posted a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles for her second win of the day to seal the Flying Dutch's 5-0 win over Calvin in the 2018 MIAA Women's Tennis Tournament title game Friday at Hope.
Hope started with three victories in doubles, with Hallock and Taylor LaBarge pairing for a 9-7 victory at No. 1 doubles for the final doubles point. From there, Natalie Rahring's 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles set the stage for Hallock's decisive match. Rahring paired with Erin LaBarge for an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles, the first point of the match for Hope.
The Flying Dutch will find out their place in the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship when the team bracket is released May 7 on NCAA.com.
