MIAA Women's Tennis Week #2 Wrap-Up

• Albion split their week, including an 8-1 win over Concordia Feb. 17. After sweeping the doubles points, the Brits notched four straight-set wins out of five singles victories for their team win.

• Alma also split their two outings last week, notching a 7-2 win at Cornerstone Feb. 17. Caroline Ross (Fr., Sandusky, Mich.) was part of an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles and then added a 6-4, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles as part of the Scots' team effort.

• Calvin defeated Aquinas on the road Feb. 18, 5-4. Jessica Bouma (Jr., Kalamazoo, Mich.) and Micaela Seazzu (Jr., Albuquerque, N.M.), who paired for an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles, each notched straight-set wins at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively, to help secure the team victory.

• Hope rebounded from a Friday loss to Case Western Reserve with a 6-3 win at Oberlin Feb. 18. Amanda Bandrowski (Fr., Traverse City, Mich.), won twice at No. 2 singles while adding a doubles win against Oberlin to pace the Flying Dutch.

• Saint Mary's tallied two wins Feb. 18, defeating Saint Francis (Ind.) and Wittenberg by matching 7-2 scorelines. In the two wins, the Belles swept doubles to set the tone early. Maddie Minuado (Jr., South Bend, Ind.) won both her No. 3 doubles and her No. 4 singles matches on the day while adding another doubles win in Saint Mary's loss to Ohio Wesleyan Feb. 19.
