Among the highlights from the 2016-17 season:
- Hope defeated Kalamazoo in the MIAA tournament championship, 5-1, to earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Championships.
- The Flying Dutch posted two NCAA Championship wins before falling in the regional final to Washington-St. Louis, 5-3.
- Hope's Nancy Benda was selected to participate in the NCAA Women's Tennis Singles Championship, where the senior lost in the first round to fifth-seed Brooke Donnelly.
