MIAA Women's Swimming & Diving Week #10 Wrap-Up

• Calvin posted a 168-129 victory over Kalamazoo Jan. 28, with both teams battling back and forth until the Knights prevailed with depth. For Calvin, Kendall Murphy (So., Modesto, Calif.) was a two-time winner, touching first in the 1000 free (10:58.13) and 500 free (5:24.22). The Hornets were led by Colleen Orwin (Sr., Portage, Mich.) and her three individual wins in the 100 fly (59.91), 200 fly (2:14.83) and 400 IM (4:44.43). 

• Hope bested Alma in an MIAA dual meet Jan. 28, 111-70. The Flying Dutch had eight different individuals win on the day while adding two relay victories. Molly Meyer (Sr., South Bend, Ind.) was the winner of the 200 breast (2:37.33) in her final home meet; Alma's Sydney Louis-Ferdinand (Fr., Southfield, Mich.) won the 500 free (5:50.37).

• Olivet split in a double dual with Manchester and Anderson Jan. 28, defeating the host Manchester 111-108 but dropping a 119-97 decision to Anderson. Delaney Graham (So., cc) was dominant in the freestyle sprints, winning the 50 free (26.55) and 100 free (58:30) with a second-place finish in the 200 free (2:14.55).
