2017 MIAA Year In Review - Women's Swimming & Diving

Among the highlights from the 2016-17 season:

- Calvin won their 13th consecutive MIAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championship in Holland, Mich., scoring 868 points to defeat second-place Hope (687 points). Calvin's Abby VanHarn and Sarah Bradley were named MIAA Most Valuable Swimmer and Diver, respectively.

- Calvin's Abby VanHarn was a three-time All-American at the 2017 NCAA Championships, finishing in the top eight individually in the 50 free (23.30, 5th) and 100 free (50.38, T3rd) and was part of the Knights' 800 Free Relay team that placed sixth nationally.

- Kalamazoo's Colleen Orwin also captured individual All-America honors, touching eighth in the 400 IM at the NCAAs.
