Calvin swimmer Brett Stoughton and Calvin diver Sarah Bradley were honored for their excellence in competition and in the classroom with their selection as Academic All-Americans by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). 

Stoughton was a First-Team Academic All-American selection in the organization's At Large division, which includes fencing, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming & diving, tennis, men's volleyball, water polo, and wrestling. Bradley was named a Third-Team Academic All-American.

Stoughton and Bradley are the second and third, respectively, Academic All-Americans for Calvin College in 2016-17, joining Jenna Lodewyk (volleyball).
