Hope Wins 2018 MIAA Women's Soccer Championship

The Hope College women's soccer team earned a result in every match this season, finishing with a 7-0-1 mark against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association opponents, to capture the 2018 MIAA Women's Soccer Championship. The Flying Dutch registered seven shutouts against conference challengers, allowing just one goal in eight contests.

As the regular season champions, Hope will be the top seed in the upcoming MIAA Women's Soccer Tournament, where the winner will receive an automatic berth into the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship. The Flying Dutch will enter the tournament at the semifinal round Wednesday, Oct. 31, facing the winner of Saturday's first round contest between Albion and Olivet.

This is the third consecutive MIAA regular season title for Hope and seventh overall.
