Saint Mary's O'Shea Named United Soccer Coaches' D3 National Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – McKenna O'Shea, a freshman forward on the Saint Mary's College women's soccer team, was named the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Women's Soccer National Player of the Week, the coaching organization announced Tuesday (Sept. 5).

O'Shea burst onto the scene for her collegiate debut, scoring all six of Saint Mary's goals in a 1-1-0 week for the Belles. After notching a pair of scores in Saint Mary's 3-2 setback to North Park Sept. 1, O'Shea then set a Saint Mary's program record with four goals in a game to boost the Belles in their 4-1 victory over Manchester Sept. 3.

Saint Mary's returns to action Wednesday, Sept. 6, when the Belles start MIAA play against Olivet at 7 p.m.
