Hope Women's Soccer to Face Lynchburg in NCAA First Round

The Hope College women's soccer team will face Lynchburg College Friday, Nov. 11 in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament First Round. 

Hope boasts a 15-3-2 record after winning the MIAA Tournament championship by way of a 3-0 semifinal win over Calvin Nov. 3 and a 4-2 victory over Alma in the final Nov. 5. 

This is the fifth NCAA Tournament appearance for Hope and second in three seasons. 

Lynchburg, from Lynchburg, Va., enters the NCAA Tournament with a 14-2-3 record and received an at-large berth into the national tournament.

The winner of Hope/Lynchburg will take on the winner of Thomas More (20-0-1) and Penn St. Behrend (16-4-0) Saturday, Nov. 12 at 1 p.m.
