Among the highlights from the 2016 season:
- Hope represented the MIAA in the NCAA Tournament, playing tough in a 3-2 NCAA First Round setback to Lynchburg.
- Kalamazoo and Hope shared the MIAA regular season title with matching 12-2-2 MIAA records. Kalamazoo earned the top seed in the MIAA tournament due to the head-to-head tiebreaker against Hope.
- Hope was the MIAA tournament champions, coming back from two first-half one-goal deficits to outlast Alma, 4-2.
