Week #9 Wrap-Up for April 16-22

• Adrian gathered their first MIAA victory of the season with a 19-1 win at Olivet April 21. Gwyneth Brodbeck (Fr., Lake Orion, Mich.) led all scorers with five goals, while Annie Rice (Jr., Reisterstown, Md.) gave out eight assists.

• Albion secured an MIAA postseason berth with a 2-0 week, including a 10-7 win over Hope April 21. In holding the Flying Dutch under their season scoring average, the Britons' Taylor Nelson (Sr., Simi Valley, Calif.) led the defense with four ground balls and two caused turnovers.

• After posting a 12-10 win over Hope April 19, Calvin captured at least a share of the 2018 MIAA regular season championship with a thrilling 16-15 win at Saint Mary's April 21. Against the Belles, Calvin's Emma Tilma (Jr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) led all scorers with six goals, while Kelly Pepper (Jr., Wyckoff, N.J.) continued to rack up assists with five.

• After a setback against Albion, Kalamazoo ended a three-game slide with a 20-5 victory over Trine April 21 to celebrate Senior Day.

• Earning MIAA Athlete of the Week honors for April 23 were:
