Week #8 Wrap-Up for April 9-15

• Albion returned to their winning ways with a 2-0 week in MIAA play, with wins over Alma and Olivet. Against Alma April 11, the Britons benefitted from five goals and two assists by Cait Gaitley (Sr., Grosse Pointe, Mich.) in their 16-6 win.

• Calvin stayed at the top of MIAA standings with two league victories. In Calvin's 28-0 win over Olivet April 11, the Knights saw 15 players score goals, while Kelly Pepper (Jr., Wyckoff, N.J.) tallied 10 assists to set a Calvin and MIAA single-game standard.

• Saint Mary's improved to 5-0 in MIAA play after defeating fellow league-leader Hope in overtime April 14, 10-9. In that game, Rachael Leonard (Jr., Hendersonville, Tenn.) helped stymie the Hope attack with seven ground balls and a school-record eight caused turnovers.
