The Calvin women's lacrosse team fell behind early to host Denison Saturday (May 12) in the Second Round of the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship, as Denison defeated Calvin 21-4.
Calvin's Emma Verrett led the team offensively with team-highs of two goals and one assist. Ellis Chalfant tallied nine of Calvin's 13 saves on the day. Denison out-shot Calvin 45-16 in the contest.
The 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship will be contested on May 27 at Kerr Stadium in Salem, Va.
