• Albion posted their first victory of the season with an 18-6 win against Franklin March 26 in the Brits' home opener. Cate Gaitley (Jr., A, Grosse Pointe, Mich.) had five of her game-high six goals during Albion's 14-goal outburst in the first half.
• Alma rallied for a 14-11 win at Heidelberg March 22 after trailing 8-5 at the half. During a key 6-0 run in the second half, Nikki Reece (Fr., A, Livonia, Mich.) had two of her team-best four goals. Olivia Benoit (Fr., A, Grosse Pointe, Mich.) also scored four goals while adding five ground balls and two caused turnovers.
• Hope came away with a 10-9 win at Colorado Springs March 20 during a three-game swing through Colorado last week. Dana Kym (Sr., A, Libertyville, Ill.) broke out for six goals in the win.
• Saint Mary's went 2-0 on the week, defeating Illinois Tech on the road in overtime March 22, 17-16, and defeating Ohio Northern at home March 25, 16-10. In both games, Mary Singler (Fr., M, Louisville, Ky.) scored a program-record seven goals to fuel the Belles offensively.
• Trine's Audrey Poteet (So., G, Indianapolis, Ind.) set the program record for saves in a game in the Thunder's 11-8 win over Mount St. Joseph March 24. Poteet snapped up 25 saves to anchor the defense, while Anne Mammel (Sr., M, Tecumseh, Mich.) had four points (three goals, one assist) to go with three ground balls.
