The Calvin women's lacrosse team will participate in the 2017 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship and will face Mount Union Saturday, May 13 in the second round of the national tournament. The first face off is set for 5 p.m. in Alliance, Ohio.
Calvin (12-5) won the 2017 MIAA Tournament title after a 15-0 victory over Hope May 6. Mount Union (13-3) of the Ohio Athletic Conference has won their last seven contests, including three overtime wins.
This is the second consecutive trip to the NCAAs for the Calvin women's lacrosse team; the Knights look to improve on their 0-1 postseason record.
The winner of the May 13 match will advance to the regional round and take on the winner of TCNJ/Edicott/Farmingdale State.
