Calvin (12-6) battled tough in the Knights' NCAA Second Round contest of the 2017 Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship Saturday, but could not get the best of Mount Union in a 14-11 setback.
The Knights led by as much as two goals in the first half and tied the game at 10-10 in the second half, but Mount Union tallied four of the game's final five goals in the last 12 minutes to secure the win.
Four players scored two goals for Calvin, including Emily Cefaratti, who added four ground balls and a caused turnover in the setback.
