Among the highlights from the 2017 season:
- Calvin set an MIAA record by holding Hope scoreless in the MIAA Tournament title game, posting a 15-0 victory.
- At the 2017 NCAA Championship, Calvin just missed advancing past Mount Union in a close 14-11 setback in the Second Round.
- Headlining the 2017 All-MIAA team were Saint Mary's Mary Singler, who was both the Most Valuable Player on offense and Rookie of the Year, and Emily Cefaratti, who was the defensive MVP.
