The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association has named Albion midfielder Ashley Glenn its Offensive Player of the Week in women's lacrosse for games played through May 2.
Glenn, a senior from New Hudson (South Lyon HS), scored seven goals, including the tying and winning goals, as Albion edged Calvin 11-10 to win its first MIAA tournament and advance to the NCAA Division III tournament. She also scooped up seven ground balls and caused three turnovers in the game. Glenn is being honored as Player of the Week for the third time this season and fifth time in her career.
