WGCA Recognizes 10 MIAA Women's Golfers as All-America Scholars

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) released its recipients of their 2017-18 WGCA All-American Scholar award July 3, as the national organization recognized 11 MIAA student-athletes among 1,021 student-athletes honored across all collegiate women's golf programs.

Of the 11 MIAA All-American Scholars, Olivet's Nicole Deweyert, Saint Mary's Summer Stillson, and Hope's Jordyn Rioux were also First-Team All-MIAA selections in 2017; Alma's Victoria Basso and Hope's Abigail Meder were Second-Team All-MIAA selections.

The criteria for selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
