The Saint Mary's College women's golf team concluded the 2017-18 season last week with their T-18th place finish at the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship at Howey-In-The-Hills, Fla., missing the final 15-team cut to advance to the fourth round.
The Belles, making their eighth appearance at the National Championship in program history, finished with a three-round score of 1071, were led by Hunter Kehoe, who finished with a three-day total of 252 to finish tied for 56th overall, aided by an 81 during the second round. To note, only one player broke par over the four-round championship, with only four others hitting even-par (73) for the duration of the event.
Summer Stillson also matched Kehoe's 81 for the lowest round for Saint Mary's, shooting hers on day three.
Claremont-Mudd-Scripps won their first-ever NCAA Championship, defeating Williams in a two-hole playoff Friday (May 11). CMS' Margaret Loncki won the individual national title with a four-day score of 11-over par.
