MIAA Women's Golf Week #2 Wrap-Up

All nine MIAA teams were in action on the weekend, with eight teams participating in Olivet's Kyle Campbell Classic. Hope was the top MIAA finisher in the 12-team event, finishing seven strokes back of team champion DePauw. Three MIAA golfers finished in the top five: Hope's Megan Klintworth (Jr., Jackson, Mich.) tied for second with an 11-over 155, Hope's Nicole Meyer (Jr., Brighton, Mich.) was alone in fourth with a 12-over 156, and Olivet's Laura Bacso (Sr., Trenton, Mich.) tied for fifth on her home course with a 13-over 157.

Saint Mary's hoisted the championship plaque at the eight-team Hanover Fall Classic, hosted by Hanover College, Sept. 10-11. On Sunday, the Belles were led by Lauren Read (Fr., Bremen, Ind.) and her medalist finish. Read led the field with a five-over 77 as Saint Mary's claimed the top three individual spots; Taylor Kehoe (So., Traverse City, Mich.) was one stroke back with a 78, while Ali Mahoney (Sr., Naperville, Ill.) shot 80.
