Among the highlights from the 2016-17 season:
- Hope became the first team to break the 300-stroke plateau with their 299 during the first round of the MIAA Tournament. Hope went on to win by 24 strokes.
- It was a close tournament from start to finish, as Hope rallied to claim the NCAA Qualifier Tournament. Coming back from a one-stroke deficit from the first round, Hope finished with a 10-stroke win over Saint Mary's.
- At the NCAA Championship, Hope posted its second-best finish in program history with their 11th place effort.
