• Hope stayed atop the league ladder with a pair of convincing MIAA victories. Against Olivet Feb. 11, the Flying Dutch had no player see more than 19 minutes on the court as Hope's bench provided 55 of the team's points. Reserve Victoria Swift (So., G, LaGrance, Ill.) led all scorers as a reserve with 18 points. It was the second straight outing that Swift led Hope offensively after notching a career-best 22 poitns in a 98-55 victory at Kalamazoo Feb. 8.
• Trine returned to the Top 25 in both polls last week and responded with two MIAA wins. At Adrian Feb. 8, the Thunder pulled away from a 30-30 halftime tie to emerge with a 69-51 victory over the Bulldogs; Hayley Martin (Jr., F, Auburn, Ind.) led all scorers with 19 points while adding a game-best 11 rebounds, all on the defensive end. The Thunder then tallied their 20th win of the season in a 79-48 victory over Kalamazoo; Brandi Dawson (So., G, Garrett, Ind.) notched 19 points and seven rebounds to lead Trine.
• Calvin got back on track with a 2-0 week against MIAA foes. In a 62-49 mid-week win at Olivet Feb. 8, Anna Timmer (Sr., F, Caledonia, Mich.) tallied a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds, both team highs. The Knights followed up with an 82-52 win at Adrian Feb. 11, notching their 20th win of the season. Ali Spayde (Jr., G, Lewis Center, Ohio) led the team with 20 points, while defensively the Knights held Adrian to just 26.2 percent shooting from the field.
• Albion secured a postseason berth with their 78-62 win over Alma Feb. 11. In their win over the Scots, Albion had a balanced attack as eight players scored at least six points, with four in double figures. Mackenzie Fairbanks (Fr., G/F, Jackson, Mich.) came off the bench to tally a team-tying high 12 points in 17 minutes of play while adding three rebounds.
