Trine's Dawson Selected All-America by D3hoops.com

Brandi Dawson, a sophomore guard on the Trine women's basketball team, was named a Third-Team All-American by D3hoops.com, the online publication announced Saturday. 

The 2017 MIAA Player of the Year becomes the first D3hoops.com All-American in Trine women's basketball history. During the 2016-17 season, Dawson averaged 15.4 points per game while shooting 54.5 percent from the field to rank in the top 25 nationally in that category.

Dawson and the Thunder captured their first-ever MIAA regular season and tournament titles in 2017, advancing to the program's first NCAA Tournament; while there, Trine advanced to the second round.
