• Alma took a doubleheader from Ohio Wesleyan March 25, winning 10-4 and 5-4. Danielle Service (Sr., C, Mason, Mich.) batted 3-for-7 with two home runs and five RBI on the day for the Scots.
• Calvin concluded their spring trip with a 3-1 mark on their final two days, capped with a 2-1 extra-inning win over New Paltz State March 24. The day previous featured two wins for the Knights, including a 9-8 victory over Colby; in that game, Anna Gernant (So., P, West Des Moines, Iowa) tallied a double and a home run and then tossed 1.1 innings to earn the win, her seventh of the season.
• Hope wrapped up their spring break swing through Florida with a 6-2 record to improve to 9-3 overall. In their 8-0 win over Babson March 21, the Flying Dutch capitalized on five errors while holding Babson to four hits; Shay Pinhey (So., IF, Ann Arbor, Mich.) had two doubles in the victory.
• Kalamazoo went 3-1 last week to conclude their trip to Florida. In a 7-5 victory over D'Youville March 20, the Hornets scored all seven runs in the second inning; Kalamazoo followed with a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Worcester State. Hayleigh Alamo (So., IF, Colorado Springs, Colo.) had the game-winning single against Worcester State and had two hits and two RBI against D'Youville.
• Saint Mary's registered two doubleheader splits last week, notching a 4-2 extra-inning win over Wheaton March 24. Leadoff batter Krystal Harris (So., OF, Palatine, Ill.) went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI, while Cassie Young (Jr., OF, South Bend, Ind.) made good on an eighth-inning double by scoring on a two-run single by Caitlyn Migawa (Sr., IF, Tinley Park, Ill.).
• Trine remained unbeaten on the year - and is the lone remaining team in Division III without a loss - with a doubleheader sweep against Anderson (Ind.). Trine started with an 11-3 5-inning win and followed with a 2-1 pitchers' duel victory in game two. On the day, Carly Bachna (Fr., IF, Elyria, Ohio) went 6-for-6 with a home run, a double, and six RBI.
