• Adrian earned a pair of wins during last week's Florida trip, defeating Waynesburg 4-3 in 8 innings Feb. 27. The Bulldogs combined to strikeout eight, while Phoebe Cole (Jr., IF, Southgate, Mich.) went 2-for-3 with a run in the win.

• Albion started their spring trip through Florida March 5 with a split, defeating Rockford 10-2. The Brits combined for 11 hits and benefitted from seven Rockford errors; Kara Suwarsky (Jr., IF, Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.) went 2-for-4 with three runs and three RBI.

• Alma went 7-1 on the week during their spring swing in Florida, with three consecutive shutouts early in the week. Alma gave up just two hits in each of their shutout wins over Cabrini Feb. 28. Mary Brooks (Jr., OF, Portland, Mich.) was 2-for-2 with a run in Alma's 3-0 win over MSOE March 3; Katie McClure (Jr., P, Manchester, Mich.) struck out seven in the shutout.

• Trine tallied four wins to start their 2017 campaign last week, including a 6-4 10-inning tilt against Transylvania March 4. Kaylee Fox (Jr., 1B/Vermillion, Ohio) went 2-for-4 in the game, with a two-run home run in the 10th accounting for the Thunder's decisive runs.
