Thirteen MIAA student-athletes earn All-Central Region Honors from NFCA

Thirteen Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association softball student-athletes were honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) as All-Central Region performers, including five on the 15-person first team.

Alma's battery of pitcher Morgan Stratton and catcher Danielle Service joined Hope pitcher Sydney Jones, Saint Mary's outfielder Cassie Young, and Trine's Kaylee Fox (at-large selection) on the All-Central Region first team.

MIAA Second-Team All-Region selections were Hope's Sammi Adams and Trine's Danielle Ray, Carly Bachna, and Makenna Hartline. Third team honorees from the MIAA were Calvin's Anna Gernant, Hope's Hayley Reitsma, Saint Mary's Jamie Young, and Trine's Catherine Porter.
