Pair of MIAA softball student-athletes named to NFCA All-America team

Trine University sophomore first-baseman Kendra Marshal and Alma College pitcher Morgan Stratton were both revealed as NFCA second team All-Americans yesterday.

Marshal maintained a .365 batting average during the 2016 season. The Leesburg, Indiana native recorded 58 hits over the course of 49 games she appeared in.

On the mound, Stratton finished the year with an ERA of 0.78, much improved from the .160 ERA she boasted in the previous 2015 season. In addition, Stratton recorded 190 strikeouts and is only 7 strikeouts away from reaching a career total of 400.
