All-MIAA Team Announced; Trine’s Searles, Robles Named Most Valuable

The MIAA has announced its All-MIAA softball team for the 2015 season.

Trine outfielder Carly Searles, who led the MIAA in batting average at .608, tied a conference record for hits in a season with 31, and became the NCAA Division III career leader in both hits and triples, was named the MIAA’s Most Valuable Position Player. Trine righthander Justine Robles, who posted a league-best 8-1 record against MIAA opponents with 61 strikeouts in 51-1/3 innings, was selected as Most Valuable Pitcher.
