Many teams were in action on the week as MIAA teams competed at various events throughout the Midwest for week #6:

• Olivet's Bruce Baker (Jr., Charlotte, Mich.) was the top MIAA finisher at the 18-team Lansing Cross Country Invitational Oct. 7, posting a time of 26:21.9 for the 8K race. Calvin was the top MIAA team, finishing fifth overall.

• Kalamazoo participated at the Michigan Intercollegiates Oct. 7, with the Hornets benefitting from a second-place finish by Jackson Kelly (Fr., Grosse Ile, Mich.); Kelly finished the 4K race in 12:34.3.

• Hope finished 11th out of 15 teams at the Principia Invitational Oct. 8, with Nicholas Johnson (So., Grand Haven, Mich.) leading the Flying Dutchmen with a time of 28:19.25 on the 8K course.
