Saturday, Sept. 24, had all eight teams in action at the 2016 MIAA Jamboree at Pine River Country Club, hosted by Alma College. 

Calvin cruised to the team title, as all five scorers were in the top seven to cross the line, giving the Knights an impressive 18-point total. Zac Nowicki (Comstock Park, Mich.) led the way for the No. 15-ranked Knights with a seven-second win over teammate Mark Dejong (Grand Rapids, Mich.), with the duo crossing in 25:22.7 and 25:29.5, respectively. Jordan Kramer (Pewaukee, Wis.) took third for the Knights in a time of 25:34.9.

Hope's Benjamin Pederson (Mount Prospect, Ill.) captured fourth place in 25:46.2, while Andrew Philipose (Mount Prospect, Ill.) of Calvin rounded out the top ten in 25:46.8.

Albion finished second behind Calvin, as the Brits had all of their top five finish in the top 20 overall.
