• Adrian kicked off their 2018 outdoor campaign at the Hanover Invitational March 31, with the Bulldogs placing second in a field of 12 teams. Jordan Davis (Jr., Ottawa Lake, Mich.) was a three-time winner, finishing first in the 110m hurdles (15.24) to go with relay wins in the 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay.

• Albion distance runners competed at the Washington University Invitational March 30, with Andrew Wittland (Jr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) finishing the 10,000m run in 32:04, good for second in his heat, 24th nationally, and one of the top 10 times in Albion history.

• Alma's top performances at their double dual with Calvin and Hope included a triple jump win by Payton Hirschenberger (So., Freeland, Mich.) and a victory in the long jmp by John Mitrzyk (So., Standish, Mich.).

• Calvin hosted a double dual with Alma and Hope, with the Knights prevailing over both MIAA foes. Brendan VanHouten (Jr., Grand Rapids, Mich.) was a two-time winner in the hammer and discus while finishing second in the shot put.

• Hope benefitted from a first-place finish by Brandon Maurice (So., Howell, N.J.) in the high jump among with six other first-place efforts in the double dual at Calvin March 29.

• Trine's Nicholas Gerber (Jr., Goshen, Ind.) was a two-time winner in the shot put and hammer throw to highlight the Thunder's season-opening performance at the Hanover Invitational March 31; Trine placed third overall.
