2018 MIAA Year In Review - Men's Outdoor Track & Field

Among the highlights from the 2018 season:

- Calvin captured their 24th MIAA title in 25 seasons at the 2018 MIAA Championship, led by two-time winner Ethan Valentine (400m dash, 48.76; 4x400m relay, 3:17.35); Valentine's win in the 400 was his third career MIAA Championship in that event.

- At the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Adrian's 4x100m Relay team of Donovan Ervin, Marcus Higginbottom, Jordan Davis, and Randolph Fry placed fifth overall in a time of 40.86 to earn All-America honors. Also gathering All-America status was Calvin's Caleb Freguson, who finished seventh in the 3,000m Steeplechase (9:15.88).

- Earning Most Valuable honors from the MIAA Championship were Calvin's duo of Ethan Valentine (track) and Brendan Van Houten (field). Two-time All-MIAA honorees also included Trine's Jeffery Barnett (200m dash, long jump) and Calvin's Noah Puteyn (800m run, 4x400m relay).
