Barnett Headlines MIAA's Performances at 2018 NCAA Men's Indoor Championships

Trine's Jeffery Barnett was the highlight performer for the MIAA at the 2018 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships March 9-10, repeating is runner-up performance in the long jump from 2017 with a second-place finish in the same event last weekend. Barnett's jump of 7.30m in the penultimate round moved him into first place into the final round of jumps, but was out-jumped in the final round.

Teammate Patrick Richardville ran a 60m dash preliminary time of 6.95 seconds, ranking 11th overall.

Albion's Richard Annorat cleared 2.02m in the high jump at the national meet, finishing 12th nationally.

Mount Union hoisted the National Championship trophy for the first time in program history, winning the meet's final event - the 4x400m relay - to win the title.
