MIAA Men's Indoor Track & Field Week #5 Wrap-Up

• Adrian competed at the Tiffin Invitational Feb. 11, where Jordan Davis (Jr., Ottawa Lake, Mich.) set a new program standard in the 60m hurdles (8.32) to finish second overall while adding a third-place finish in the high jump (1.90m).

• Albion took part in the Aquinas Open Feb. 10; leading the way for the Brits was Jephte Jean-Claude (So., Traverse City, Mich.) who tallied wins in the 60m hurdles (8.68) and triple jump (43 feet, 10..75 inches). Teammate James Weekley (Fr., Farmington Hills, Mich.) was victorious in the 3,000m run with a time of 9:18.30.

• Alma also was up to the challenge at the Aquinas Open Feb. 10, with Essa Kellah (So., Grand Rapids, Mich.) winning the 400m dash in 53.09.

• Calvin split its squad between Grand Valley State's Big Meet and the Aquinas Open. At Grand Valley, Jordan Kramer (Sr., Pewaukee, Wis.) posted a time of 14:39.15 in the 5,000m run, which ranks sixth nationally. The Knights had four individual wins at Aquinas, including Brendan Van Houten (So., Grand Rapids, Mich.) in the weight throw (52 feet, 0 inches).

• Hope saw Brandon Wolliston (Sr., Remus, Mich.) reset his own school record in the 400m dash while at the Grand Valley State Big Meet Feb. 10. Wolliston finished with a time of 49.01 on Friday before running on Hope's distance medley relay team on Saturday; the quartet finished in 10:24.30.

• Olivet traveled to Defiance College for the Dick Small Invitational Feb. 10. Connor Bauserman (Sr., Battle Creek, Mich.) broke the Olivet record in the 1-mile run (4:25.11) by three tenths of a second. Mitchell Smith (Jr., Richmond, Mich.) won the weight throw with a school record toss of 52 fee, 2.75 inches.

• Trine was in action at the Taylor Invitational Feb. 11, hosted at the Kelser Fieldhouse. Mat Bollan (Fr., Pleasant Lake, Ind.) set a Trine record in the 60m hurdles (8.50), breaking a nine-year record. Jasper Bassett (So., Auburn, Ind.) was victorious in the 400m dash, winning in 50.04.
