MIAA Men's Indoor Track & Field Week #2 Wrap-Up

• Adrian's season debut came at the Tiffin Dragon Open Jan. 21, where Conner Stevons (Sr., Rochester Hills, Mich.) had the Bulldogs' top finish with a third-place effort in the 3000m (9:13.17).

• Calvin finished second out of 13 teams at the Carnegie Mellon-sponsored invitational at SPIRE Institute Jan. 21. In distance events, Calvin crossed the line 1-2-4 in the 5000m run with Jordan Kramer (Sr., Pewaukee, Wis.) taking first in 14:58.93. The Knights' 4x400m relay team edged the field with a time of 3:25.15.

• Hope saw a pair of first-place finishes in their first action of the new year at the Aquinas Indoor Quad Jan. 20. Cameron Jones (Sr., Holland, Mich.) was first in the 600m run with a time of 1:24.65. In field events, leading the way was Joshua Izenbart (Fr., Glenwood, Ill.) with a first-place effort in the high jump (1.96m).

• Olivet traveled to the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcat Invitational Jan. 21, with Blake Wilson (Sr., Battle Creek, Mich.) taking third in the 1-mile run (4:40.07).

• Trine's Jeffrey Barnett (Fremont, Ohio) bounded for a school record in the long jump at the Keith Turner Alumni Invitational Jan. 21, re-setting his own record by more than one foot with an effort of 23' 6 3/4". It was one of five first-place finishes for the Thunder.
