Men's Recap

Calvin utilized a 1-2-3-4 finish in the men's 3000m run Saturday to give the Knights the points cushion it needed heading into the final relay to secure their first-ever MIAA Men's Indoor Track and Field title. Calvin outscored Trine to prevent the Thunder from a repeat of their title capture in 2016. Among the highlights of the day was the standout performance of Calvin's Ethan Valentine, whose MIAA-record shattering time of 48.13 in the 400m dash was also the fastest in the nation through Saturday. Valentine then anchored Calvin's 4x400m relay team that set an MIAA standard of 3:22.54.

Adrian's Jordan Davis (60m hurdles, high jump) and Trine's Jeffery Barnett (200m dash, long jump) were also two-time winners in the men's championship.
