• Alma tallied a 2-0 weekend to start their 2018 spring campaign, defeating Holy Cross College Feb. 2, 6-3, and Albion Feb. 3, 5-4. Brandon Ralston (Fr., Cadillac, Mich.) won all four of his contests on the weekend, competing at No. 3 doubles and No. 5 singles.
• Kalamazoo hit the road for two victories to start the spring, defeating Oberlin Feb. 3, 8-1, and Wabash Feb. 4, 6-3. Allen Vinson (Jr., Tallahassee, Fla.) was a two-time winner at both No. 2 doubles and No. 4 singles, dropping just three games in each of his straight-set singles wins.
