Week #16 Wrap-Up for April 9-15
• Adrian pushed their winning streak to four matches with a 3-0 week, including two MIAA victories. After trailing 2-1 following doubles against Trine April 10, the Bulldogs gathered four singles wins, including two key three-set wins at No. 3 and No. 4 to prevail, 5-4.
• Calvin went 2-1 last week, including an MIAA victory over Olivet April 10. In singles play against the Comets, the Knights won in straight sets; on the day, Avery Holt (Fr., Aurora, Ill.) lost only three games over his wins at No. 3 doubles and No. 5 singles.
• #30 Kalamazoo went 3-0 last week, with wins over MIAA foes Calvin and Hope along with a victory against nationally-ranked Case Western Reserve April 15, 5-4. Ricardo DelOlmo-Parrado (Jr., Valladolid, Spain) went 5-1 on the week, with his singles victory against Case Western proving to be the match-winner.
