Calvin and Hope held court in their semifinal contests in the 2018 MIAA Men's Tennis Tournament, with both advancing to Friday's Championship contest at 4 p.m. hosted by Calvin at Strikwerda Tennis Center.

Calvin swept the three doubles points up for grabs before nabbing victories at No. 6 and No. 1 singles. Calvin's Rodrigo Castellanos Vaca Guzman produced the match-sealing win at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-3, after winning at No. 2 doubles with teammate David Brown, 8-3.

Hope 5, Adrian 0 | Hope recap

Hope's Danny Kroeze and Mark VanderStoep were both two-time winners, pairing for Hope's first point of the day at No. 1 doubles, 8-3, before winning in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively. Kroeze was the first off the court in both doubles and singles, capturing a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles.
