MIAA Men's Tennis Week #12 Wrap-Up

The four-team field for the 2017 MIAA Men's Tennis Tournament has been announced, with top-seeded Kalamazoo hosting No. 4 seed Adrian Thursday, May 4, while No. 2 seed Hope will entertain Calvin in the other semifinal. The top two teams remaining will face off at the highest remaining seed Saturday, May 5 for the MIAA Tournament title and automatic berth to the NCAA Championship.

• Alma split their final week of the regular season, which ended on a high note by defeating Olivet April 28, 9-0. Luke Van Fleet (Jr. Rockford, Mich.) helped start the Scots off with an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles before a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 2 singles.

• Hope finished the regular season with a 9-0 senior day win over Alma April 25. Sam Kreps (Sr., Holland, Mich.) helped the Flying Dutch with his victories at No. 3 doubles (8-5) and No. 6 singles (6-3, 6-0) in his final regular season match.
