• Albion started the 2017-18 campaign with a dual at Wabash Oct. 14, falling 184.5-131.5. Jake Huttenlocher (Fr., Shelby Twp., Mich.) won the 500 free (4:59.56) and 400 IM (4:22.35) for the Britons.
• Alma faced off against NCAA Division II Saginaw Valley State Oct. 13. Among Alma's top performers were Max Carey (Fr., Highland, Mich.), who placed third in the 100 fly (56.50).
• Kalamazoo also traveled to Saginaw Valley State, facing the Cardinals in an Oct. 14 dual. Sharif Shaker (Jr., Castro Valley, Calif.) finished second in the 200 free (1:46.99), a time that is 13th fastest in NCAA Division III.
• Earning MIAA Athlete of the Week honors for Oct. 16 were:
