• Albion's 1-0-1 week in MIAA play gave the Britons four critical points on the road and halted an eight-game winless streak. Albion earned a 1-0 victory at Hope Oct. 14, aided by a four-save effort from Maximilian Loria (Fr., GK, Sterling Heights, Mich.).
• #1 Calvin went 1-0-1 in their first week as the nation's top-ranked team, drawing on the road at Hope Oct. 11, 1-1, and notching a 5-1 win at Adrian Oct. 14. Shaeffer Smith (Fr., M, Columbus, Ohio) scored three goals against the Bulldogs Saturday.
• Kalamazoo moved their unbeaten streak to four matches with a 1-0-1 week. The Hornets drew at Adrian Oct. 11, 0-0, and then tallied a 1-0 road win at Alma Oct. 14. Against the Scots, Ryan Melgar (Fr., M, Portage, Mich.) scored in the 80th minute for the contest's lone tally.
