• Adrian jumped out to a 2-0-0 start in MIAA with two key overtime wins; the Bulldogs defeated Olivet at home Sept. 13, 2-1 in extra time, and added a 2-1 overtime win at Kalamazoo Sept. 16. Justin Tobin (Fr., D, Midland, Mich.) tallied the game-winning goal against Kalamazoo in the 96th minute.
• Albion split their MIAA games, winning 2-1 at Alma Sept. 13 before a 2-1 home setback to Trine Sept. 16.
• Calvin stayed unbeaten in 2017 with two MIAA wins, shutting out Trine on the road Sept. 13, 3-0, and Hope at home Sept. 16, 2-0. Bobby McCaw (Jr., F, Dubuque, Iowa) was involved in four of Calvin's five goals on the week, scoring the game-winner against Hope. Against Trine, head coach Ryan Souders registered his 100th career victory at the helm of the Knights.
• Hope went 1-1 on the week, winning in overtime against Kalamazoo Sept. 13 before a 2-0 setback at Calvin Sept. 16. Christian Dault (Jr., F, Grand Haven, Mich.) had the overtime game-winner for the Flying Dutch.
• After a 3-0 loss to nationally-ranked Calvin Sept. 13, Trine rebounded with a 2-1 win over Albion Sept. 16.
