KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Three Calvin men's soccer players represented the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association on the United Soccer Coaches' All-America teams, the national coaching organization announced Nov. 30.

Calvin's trio of 2017 MIAA Most Valuable Player Trent Vegter (Jr., D, Hudsonville, Mich.) and Nate Van Ryn (Sr., G, Grandville, Mich.) were named First Team All-America performers, while Bobby McCaw (Jr., F, Dubuque, Iowa) was selected to the Second Team.

It marks just the second time in program history that Calvin has landed a trio of United Soccer Coaches All-Americans in the same year. Vegter, who received All-America accolades in 2016, becomes the third two-time All-American in Calvin men's soccer history.
