Week #9 Wrap from April 2-8
• Albion started out MIAA play with a 12-3 victory over Calvin April 7, holding the Knights scoreless for the first half. Trevor McManus (So., Canton, Mich.) registered 13 saves while Alec Palmer (So., Spring Lake, Mich.) notched three goals and an assist.
• Hope ran their winning streak to nine with two MIAA wins last week, including a 9-8 win over Trine April 7. After taking a 9-2 lead in the third quarter, the Flying Dutchmen fended off a late Trine rally to stay unbeaten in league action. Max Kuiper (So., Grand Rapids, Mich.) had a hat trick in both outings.
• Olivet earned their first win of the season with their 15-10 road win over Adrian April 7. Cameron Bazin (Sr., Troy, Mich.) finished with six points on a game-best five goals to go with one assist; Connor Hamm (Fr., Beverly Hills, Mich.) set a program record with eight caused turnovers while adding 14 ground balls.
