Albion Men's Lacrosse Ends Season in NCAA First Round

New England College scored just 40 seconds into overtime to complete their comback against Albion men's lacrosse May 8 to hand the Britons a 10-9 setback in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship.

Albion slowly built a lead throughout the contest, including a 9-5 advantage to end the third quarter. But New England College out-scored Albion 4-0 in the fourth quarter, including a goal in the final minue of regulation, to tie the contest at 9-9. From there, New England College scored in the first minute of overtime to advance in the postseason tournament.

Brandon Lebioda led the Britons with three points, including two goals; Quinn Dobrzelewski had a team-best eight ground balls.

The final for the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Lacrosse Championship will be played Sunday, May 27 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass.
