• Alma improved to 6-2 overall with their 13-12 overtime win against the College of Wooster March 22. Chase Hunyadi (Fr., A, Pepper Pike, Ohio) not only scored a game-high four goals for the Scots, but notched the match-winner 1:27 into the overtime period to finish with eight points on the night.
• Calvin split their road swing through Texas last week, rebounding from their setback against Southwestern with a 22-6 victory ag Dallas March 24. A 4-0 lead after the first quarter grew to 9-1 at the halftime break, as Chris Griffin (Sr., A, Hartland, Mich.) led the offense with nine points on six goals and three assists; three of his points (two goals, one assist) came in the first quarter.
• Kalamazoo held Mount St. Joseph to seven shots on goal on the way to their 8-3 victory March 22. Jake Bonifacio (So., A, Williamsburg, Mich.) and Brett Fitzgerald (So., A, North Brunswick, N.J.) each had three goals to pace the Hornets on offense.
• Trine notched 10 of their 23 goals in the second quarter as the Thunder rolled to a 23-5 win at Concordia Chicago March 22. The offensive surge, which was the second-most in program history, was energized by four-goal efforts from Tyler Klima (Fr., A, Schaumburg, Ill.) and Eric Peal (So., A, Imperial, Mo.).
