Despite never trailing in the contest, it was John Cooke (Jr., A, Northville, Mich.) that put the game away with his score with 1:11 remaining. Brandon Tata (Jr., GK, Monroe, Mich.) made 17 of Albion's 21 saves while David DiRado (So., A, Northville, Mich.) guided the offense with three goals and three assists.
