• At the 2017 MIAA Fall Tournament, Hope shot a team score of 289 to cut into Calvin's lead thanks to a medalist effort by Daniel Settecerri (So., Bloomfield Hills, Mich.), who fired a three-under 69. Teammate Josh Gibson (Jr., Grandville, Mich.) added a two-under 70 to finish second overall.
Rain inundated the course prior to the scheduled start of Saturday's round, making the course unplayable and cancelling the round.
Calvin captured the team title with an eight-stroke lead over Hope, while Hope's Gibson earned Most Valuable Player honors with his 71.6 scoring average over five rounds.
The 2018 MIAA Men's Golf Spring qualifier teams will be Calvin, Hope, Trine, and Adrian.
